Entreprise d’électricité Sirois is looking for an estimator to be responsible for preparing bids.
Reporting to the Director of Operations and working in collaboration with the Head of Estimation, you will play a key role in project profitability and maintaining quality standards in the company's achievements.

Your role
You will perform the primary functions of estimation through the analysis, planning, and drafting of accurate and precise bids to ensure the company's performance.
Daily tasks
In collaboration with the Project Manager and the Head of Estimation, you will perform the following tasks:
- Read specifications, plans, and tender documents;
- Calculate project costs by analyzing labor time, required materials, etc.;
- Conduct research and coordinate bids with suppliers;
- Propose cost-effective and efficient solutions;
- Prepare final bid documents.

You hold:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- A College Diploma (DEC) in electrical engineering or electrodynamics OR academic training in estimation OR relevant experience;
- Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code;
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel);
- A strong focus on detail and quality;
- Proficiency in French;
- Knowledge of English (an asset);
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage emergencies, stress, and deadlines;
- A strong learning capacity and curiosity;
- Great communication skills, both with clients and team members.
